About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior UiPath Developer to join our Digital Center of Excellence (COE). The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in designing, developing, and deploying enterprise-grade automation solutions using the UiPath platform. This role requires a proactive individual with strong technical skills, problem-solving capabilities, and the ability to collaborate effectively with business and technology teams to deliver scalable automation solutions.

Responsibilities

Automation Development and Solution Delivery:

  • Designing, developing, testing, and deploying automation solutions using UiPath best practices and development standards
  • Building scalable and reusable automation components, workflows, and frameworks
  • Translating business and functional requirements into technical automation solutions
  • Developing attended, unattended, and API-based automation solutions across multiple business functions

Technical Analysis and Problem Solving:

  • Analyzing business processes and identifying opportunities for automation optimization and efficiency improvements
  • Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues during development, testing, and production support
  • Conducting root cause analysis and implementing sustainable fixes for automation incidents
  • Optimizing bot performance, exception handling, and automation resiliency

Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Working closely with Business Analysts, Solution Architects, and business stakeholders throughout the automation lifecycle
  • Participating in technical discussions, solution walkthroughs, and requirement clarification sessions
  • Supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT), deployment, and hypercare activities
  • Providing regular updates on development progress, risks, and dependencies

Governance and Best Practices:

  • Following established RPA development standards, security policies, and governance guidelines
  • Conducting peer code reviews and ensuring adherence to coding standards and reusable design principles
  • Maintaining technical documentation including Solution Design Documents (SDD), workflow documentation, and operational handover documents
  • Supporting audit, compliance, and operational support requirements for automation solutions

Innovation and Continuous Improvement:

  • Exploring new UiPath features, AI capabilities, and automation technologies to enhance delivery outcomes
  • Contributing reusable components, accelerators, and utilities to the COE knowledge repository
  • Identifying opportunities to improve development efficiency, automation quality, and delivery processes
  • Mentoring junior developers and supporting capability uplift within the automation team

Required Qualifications

Experience:

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in software development or automation technologies
  • At least 3+ years of hands-on experience in UiPath development and enterprise RPA implementations
  • Proven experience delivering end-to-end automation projects in enterprise environments

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field

Certifications:

  • UiPath Certified Professional Advanced RPA Developer certification preferred
  • Additional certifications in automation or cloud technologies are advantageous

Skills and Competencies:

  • Strong hands-on experience with UiPath Studio, Orchestrator, REFramework, and related UiPath components
  • Experience with API integrations, queues, assets, OCR, Excel automation, and email automation
  • Good understanding of exception handling, logging, debugging, and automation support practices
  • Familiarity with version control systems and DevOps/CI-CD practices
  • Proficiency in preparing technical documentation and workflow diagrams
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies and tools such as Jira and Confluence
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple automation deliverables

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with UiPath AI Center, Document Understanding, Apps, and Integration Services
  • Exposure to intelligent automation technologies including AI/ML integrations and process mining
  • Experience with scripting languages such as VB.NET, C#, or PowerShell
  • Knowledge of cloud-based automation deployments and virtual machine environments
  • Experience working within a Global Capability Center (GCC) or enterprise COE environment
  • Understanding of operational support, monitoring, and bot scheduling processes
