About the role
NEXTON is recruiting a Machine Learning Engineer (M/F) on a permanent contract, based in Bordeaux!
Your future work environment: You will join one of our large-scale clients' strategic and innovative IT Department. You will work on cross-functional projects alongside Data Scientists to industrialize Machine Learning models and disseminate best development practices.
Responsibilities
- Debug and provide technical support to Data Science teams
- Design and industrialize Machine Learning model deployment processes
- Automate functional tests linked to ML models and pipelines
- Optimize Python code in production
- Deploy applications following CI/CD best practices
- Lead training sessions and support Data Scientists in adopting best development practices (Clean Code, SOLID, refactoring, etc.)
- Propose suitable technical solutions and improve existing systems with a focus on quality and continuous performance
Requirements
- Education: Higher education degree (BAC+5)
- Experience: At least 4 years in a similar position in a tech/data environment
- Python: Excellent mastery
- Machine Learning / Deep Learning: Good knowledge of fundamentals
- Software development cycle: Mastery from build to production deployment
- SQL: Very good level
- Containerization: Basic knowledge of Docker / Kubernetes
- Soft skills: Rigor, initiative, and strong ability to support multidisciplinary teams
