About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and innovative Senior RPA Developer with expertise in Microsoft Power Automate Desktop to join our BI team. This role will focus on identifying automation opportunities, designing robust RPA workflows, and deploying solutions that streamline business processes, reduce manual effort, and improve accuracy across the organization. Experience automating Finance-related processes is highly desired.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business units—especially Finance—to gather automation requirements and identify opportunities to streamline recurring manual tasks.
- Design, develop, test, and deploy end-to-end automation solutions using Power Automate Desktop, particularly within Finance operations.
- Create reusable components and standardize RPA design patterns for scalability and maintenance.
- Monitor and maintain RPA solutions post-deployment, addressing exceptions and making enhancements as needed.
- Document process flows, technical design, and user guides for deployed automations.
- Integrate Power Automate Desktop with other Microsoft services (e.g., SharePoint, Excel, Outlook, Dataverse) and third-party systems.
- Provide training and support to citizen developers and internal stakeholders.
- Collaborate with IT and security teams to ensure governance, data protection, and compliance with automation standards.
Required Qualifications
- Education: B.S in Computer Science or related degree required plus a minimum of 5 years direct experience.
- RPA Experience: 3+ years of hands-on experience in RPA development with a focus on Power Automate Desktop.
- Finance Automation: Proven experience automating Finance workflows.
- RPA Concepts: Strong understanding of RPA concepts, lifecycle, and exception handling.
- Automation Types: Experience with desktop automation, web automation, file and email automation, and UI-based scripting.
- Process Skills: Proficiency in process analysis, workflow design, and business documentation.
- Microsoft Platform: Familiarity with Microsoft Power Platform components (Power Automate Cloud Flows, Power Apps, Dataverse).
- Finance Translation: Ability to translate Finance process requirements into efficient automation workflows.
- Bonus Skills: Basic programming/scripting knowledge (e.g., VBScript, JavaScript, Python, or PowerShell) is a plus. RPA or Power Platform certifications are a plus.
- Soft Skills: Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills. Effective communication skills to translate business needs into technical solutions.
Work Arrangement
Remote (US only). Although remote, will require travel to the site based on projects and deliverables.
Compensation and Benefits
Base Salary Range: $96,000—$120,000 USD
The final salary offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include, but are not limited to, the type and length of experience within the job, the type and length of experience within the industry, and education.

Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives and restricted stock units. CareDx is a multi-state employer, and this salary range may not reflect positions that work in other states.
