About the Role

Join a Poland-based AI engineering team developing innovative products that leverage machine learning and LLM technologies to solve real business challenges. You will work on AI-powered solutions, including recommendation systems and revenue optimization platforms, contributing across the full software development lifecycle—from backend and frontend development to cloud deployment and MLOps best practices. This role is ideal for an experienced engineer who combines strong software engineering fundamentals with an interest in modern AI applications and cloud-native architectures.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain AI-powered applications, including recommendation engines and revenue optimization solutions.
• Build scalable backend services using Python/FastAPI and contribute to modern React-based frontend applications.
• Integrate machine learning models and LLM capabilities into production-grade software.
• Develop and maintain cloud-native applications deployed on AWS using Docker-based workflows.
• Build and improve CI/CD pipelines, ensuring high code quality and reliable software delivery.
• Collaborate closely with Machine Learning Engineers and Data Scientists to deliver end-to-end AI solutions.
• Contribute to software architecture, engineering best practices, and continuous platform improvements.
• Work in an Agile team, participating in the ongoing development and maintenance of business-critical AI products.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Senior Machine Learning Engineer, AI Engineer, or Software Engineer working on AI-driven products.
• Strong proficiency in Python (preferred) or TypeScript, with a focus on writing clean, scalable, maintainable, and well-tested code.
• Experience with FastAPI (preferred) or Node.js for backend development.
• Strong knowledge of React and modern frontend development.
• Solid understanding of Git and collaborative development workflows.
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or similar tools.
• Strong knowledge of Docker and application containerization.
• Good understanding of AWS services, including S3, ECR, API Gateway, and cloud-native application architectures.
• Professional working proficiency in English (C1).

Nice to Have

• Experience with OpenTelemetry, including metrics, logging, and distributed tracing.
• Basic knowledge of Kubernetes and Helm.
• Familiarity with OAuth 2.0 and modern authentication and authorization mechanisms.
• Understanding of relational databases and data engineering best practices.
• Experience designing cloud-native, microservices-based systems.
• Hands-on experience with AI/ML systems, LLMs, or Generative AI applications.
