The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior AI Engineer to join our innovative team at Hitachi Digital Services Vietnam. This role involves leading the design, development, and deployment of cutting-edge artificial intelligence solutions, contributing to the advancement of our digital services portfolio.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement scalable and robust AI solutions using various machine learning, deep learning, and natural language processing techniques.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, software engineers, and product managers, to define requirements and deliver high-quality AI-powered products.
• Conduct thorough data analysis, feature engineering, and model evaluation to optimize performance and ensure accuracy.
• Stay abreast of the latest advancements in AI/ML research and technologies, and proactively identify opportunities for their application.
• Mentor junior AI engineers and contribute to fostering a culture of innovation and continuous learning within the team.
• Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and technical presentations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to AI model performance, scalability, and integration.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related quantitative field.
• Experience: 3+ years of professional experience in developing and deploying AI/ML solutions in a production environment.
• Programming: Strong proficiency in Python, and experience with relevant AI/ML libraries and frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, Keras).
• Technical Knowledge: Demonstrated experience with various machine learning algorithms (e.g., regression, classification, clustering, ensemble methods) and deep learning architectures (e.g., CNNs, RNNs, Transformers).
• NLP: Solid understanding of natural language processing (NLP) techniques and applications is a plus.
• Cloud & MLOps: Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and MLOps practices for model deployment and monitoring.
• Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, and attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Ability to work independently and lead projects from conception to completion.
