ML Engineer / Full-Stack Software Engineer

The Role
We are seeking an ML Engineer / Full-Stack Software Engineer.
Responsibilities
- Develop and scale the ZBR application (front-end + back-end + ML integration) in the USA and Europe
- Create and localize robust cost modeling engines (fixed/variable costs, route simulation, fuel estimation)
- Design APIs and services for route-level cost estimation and pricing recommendations
- Ensure optimal performance for production (scalability, reliability, security)
- Integrate ML models for:
- Route cost estimation
- Fuel consumption modeling
- Cost-per-ton/route optimization
- Work with telematics and operational datasets (e.g., fuel, distance, routes)
- Support continuous model improvement and deployment processes
- Create and improve front-end applications (Angular/React) and back-end services (Python/API)
- Translate business workflows into intuitive user interfaces (quoting, lane management)
- Implement and manage solutions in Azure-based environments
- Contribute to architecture decisions (data pipelines, application services, security)
Requirements
- Hybrid office attendance (Nuevo León)
- Solid software engineering fundamentals (production-level systems)
- Backend development with Python (APIs, services)
- Frontend development (Angular or React)
- Experience with cloud platforms (preferably Azure)
- Strong knowledge of machine learning integration (not a purely research role)
- Excellent English communication (written and verbal) and US visa
- High learning capacity (rapid adaptation to new domains/technologies)
- Strong sense of responsibility and execution
- Comfort with dynamic programming / rapid prototyping → production consolidation
- Practical and constructive mindset (individual contributor with autonomy)
