About the role

Sia is recruiting a rigorous Machine Learning Engineer (MLE) passionate about data to support clients with their machine learning challenges and implement Machine Learning models for our clients.

Responsibilities

As a Machine Learning Engineer, you will:

• Deploy Machine Learning models into production
• Master Cloud infrastructures for data science
• Coordinate project progress between Data Scientists, Platform and Backend Engineers, and business contributors

In parallel, as part of the firm's internal activities, your involvement will focus on the following areas:

• Internal research efforts (generative AI, Computer Vision, etc.)
• Development or strengthening of our offerings through training, working groups, dissemination of internal and external materials
• Publication policy (sector blogs, studies, press releases)
• Commercial development by contributing to defining needs and participating in business activities

Requirements

To succeed as a Machine Learning Engineer at Sia, you:

• Have a degree from an Engineering School or advanced training in information processing
• Have at least 2 years of professional experience in Machine Learning
• Have experience using Large Language Models (LLMs) in production
• Have excellent knowledge of Python and its ML tools, such as PyTorch, Pandas, Tensorflow, etc.
• Have experience maintaining operational systems with Machine Learning models
• Master the execution of training and inference workloads in a cloud environment
• Proficiency with the AWS Machine Learning ecosystem is an advantage
• Wish to be involved and quickly take on responsibilities for high value-added missions within a dynamic structure
• Have an appetite for data and AI challenges, the capacity to quickly build skills on these topics, and are enthusiastic about supporting our clients to seize the opportunities
• Are curious and enjoy working in a team? Are you recognised for your analytical thinking?
