Why We're Hiring

We're recruiting a Machine Learning engineer to strengthen the team. You'll be at the heart of building, maintaining and scaling the LLM and agentic features that power the Modjo product.

Your main playground: our agentic system with a focus on model orchestration, tool execution, evaluation, reliability and production performance.

Your Missions

• Design, build and optimize the agentic stack that powers our conversational and autonomous agents — with a real focus on reliability, scalability and low latency in production.
• Architect and maintain our LLM features end-to-end: model orchestration, routing, monitoring, logging and evaluation.
• Develop and improve ML infrastructure: observability, load balancing, scaling patterns, deployment workflows.
• Build robust datasets and evaluation pipelines for deterministic systems (ASR) and non-deterministic systems (LLMs and agents), to continuously improve quality.
• Collaborate with Software Engineers to implement scalable, observable and automated infrastructure around our ML services.
• Work hand-in-hand with Product Managers to evaluate feasibility, refine specs and reliably deliver our ML features.
• Contribute to technical strategy: choice of models and tools, architectural decisions, long-term roadmap of our agentic platform.
• Keep up with the latest research, frameworks and open-source developments in LLMs, agentic systems and evaluation methodologies.

Your Profile

• 2 to 5 years of experience in ML Engineering or Data Science
• Strong command of Python (bonus if you've also worked with lower-level languages like Java or C; a purely scripting profile won't be enough)
• Solid foundations in ML: types of models, data science best practices, evaluation methods
• Good command of LLMs: prompt design, evaluation, cost/performance tradeoffs
• Experience with agentic systems: tool execution, workflows, memory architectures, LangChain / LangGraph or equivalent
• Exposure to MCP (Model Context Protocol), DeepEval, FastAPI, Uvicorn
• Understanding of NLP concepts: transcription, embeddings, language understanding
• Real intellectual curiosity: you research, you dig into topics, you have your own perspective
• Ownership and good communication: you don't get stuck, you ask the right questions and you move forward
