About the Role

As an Automation Developer, you will write and execute automated tests and write the processes. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts, identify and report defects, and contribute to the overall improvement of our software development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated systems for infrastructure deployment and management.
  • Build tools and frameworks that automate workflows across different environments.
  • Collaborate with development, DevOps, and QA teams to identify automation opportunities.
  • Write clean, scalable automation scripts using TypeScript.
  • Ensure system reliability, performance, and security through effective automation practices.
  • Monitor and improve the efficiency of automation systems continuously.
  • Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and contribute to technical documentation.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure automation issues.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in automation engineering or infrastructure automation.
  • Strong proficiency in TypeScript.
  • Experience in building and maintaining infrastructure-as-code solutions.
  • Solid understanding of cloud services (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins, GitLab CI).
  • Good grasp of software development lifecycle, infrastructure best practices, and system architecture principles.
  • Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana).
  • Knowledge of security best practices in automated environments.
  • Familiarity with microservices architecture and serverless computing.
  • Certifications related to cloud platforms (AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, etc.) are a plus.
