About the Role
As an Automation Developer, you will write and execute automated tests and write the processes. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts, identify and report defects, and contribute to the overall improvement of our software development lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated systems for infrastructure deployment and management.
- Build tools and frameworks that automate workflows across different environments.
- Collaborate with development, DevOps, and QA teams to identify automation opportunities.
- Write clean, scalable automation scripts using TypeScript.
- Ensure system reliability, performance, and security through effective automation practices.
- Monitor and improve the efficiency of automation systems continuously.
- Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and contribute to technical documentation.
- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure automation issues.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in automation engineering or infrastructure automation.
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript.
- Experience in building and maintaining infrastructure-as-code solutions.
- Solid understanding of cloud services (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins, GitLab CI).
- Good grasp of software development lifecycle, infrastructure best practices, and system architecture principles.
- Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana).
- Knowledge of security best practices in automated environments.
- Familiarity with microservices architecture and serverless computing.
- Certifications related to cloud platforms (AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, etc.) are a plus.
