Lila Sciences is developing what it describes as a scientific superintelligence platform that combines advanced AI models with proprietary autonomous laboratories ("AI Science Factories") to autonomously generate hypotheses, design and run experiments, and learn from results. The platform is aimed at accelerating research and discovery across the life, chemical, and materials sciences. The company was founded in 2023 out of the venture studio Flagship Pioneering and publicly unveiled in March 2025.
