About ForeFlight
ForeFlight is an aviation software company that builds integrated mobile and web-based flight applications for flight planning, navigation, charts, weather, and flight operations. Its flagship product, ForeFlight Mobile, is used by individual pilots and professional flight crews across general, business, military, commercial, and education aviation. Founded in 2007, the company was acquired by Boeing in 2019 and, in November 2025, was sold to private equity firm Thoma Bravo and relaunched as a standalone company named Jeppesen ForeFlight.
